Project description

Thermal rehabilitation of the facade of a residential building using an exterior insulation system (EIFS) in the “Chantrea” neighborhood of Pamplona.

The architect Julián Fernandez Ruiz has chosen our ecological exterior insulation system (VIPEQ® Therm EIFS) made up of 60 mm thick cork agglomerate plates placed with a lime mortar and cork granules and covered with VIPEQ® F08 sprayed cork. . The colors chosen have been off-white and garnet. The ornamental stones of the plinth and arch of the doors have been respected as they are protected by Historical Heritage.

This EIFS system stands out for its low thermal conductivity, elasticity and both thermal and acoustic insulation. In addition, one of its great advantages is that the reduction of CO2 emissions is greater than 70% compared to systems of expanded polystyrene (EPS) insulation.

In the party walls, an injection treatment has also been carried out with the Mineralizador PQ for the treatment of humidity by capillary rise.

The VIPEQ® Therm EIFS system is ideal for those facades to be rehabilitated, and in new construction where an action to improve energy and aesthetic renovation is necessary, always under criteria of sustainability of the materials.
